About GreenChic

My and my little man

I’m Jen…. mother, nutritionist, foodie, chef, lover of all things green but indulger of some things not, coffee addict, writer, believer, seeker, farmer’s market fanatic… just to name a few.

My love affair with all things natural began when I was just a sprouting Maine-iac eating produce straight from my grandparents’ garden. Following my passion for a healthy lifestyle I received my Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University in 2002. I am a nutritionist by training, cook by passion, and a mother by divine blessing.  As Founder of GreenChic, I am dedicated to showing people that healthy eating is simple, fun, exciting and delicious! My goal is to inspire people to get fresh in their own kitchens and eat their way to a healthy, green life.

I am also excited to now be offering a new and improved version of my newsletter, and let me tell you, it’s Simplicious!  Simple and delicious, offering a fresh take on food, featuring seasonal recipes, health and wellness information, and reviews on green food businesses and products.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy putting it together for you!
